It would seem likely that after eating waaaaaaay too much on Thursday and having a great assortment of foods at our Thanksgiving dinner, I would share a recipe from that meal.
Instead, I'm going out on a limb, and sharing a recipe that I am guessing no one else will be sharing this week.
The week before Thanksgiving we were blessed (?!) with 11 inches of snow. It was not a fun snow to shovel, but it was a beautiful snow to watch as it fell. Big fluffy flakes.
My oldest daughter decided to dig out her recipe for snow ice cream on Saturday morning for breakfast. And that is what she ate twice that day. Living in a rural area, we don't get worked up about our snow not being clean.
Snow Ice Cream
8 cups of snow
1 cup milk
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 pinch salt
Whisk milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Add snow and stir in.
