This is a weekend I've been looking forward to for a few weeks now. I always enjoy the end of daylight savings time because it means that I get an extra hour of sleep, and even though it will now get dark insanely early, I won't be driving to work in the dark.
There are lots of great winterish looking clothes out there, and now that cross country is over with and Halloween is behind us as well, it appears that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. How did that happen?!
Here's what I found this week to share:
1. Sofia Velvet Blazer - I think I still have a velvet blazer somewhere from years ago. I loved it, but it went out of style for a bit, and ended up at the back of my closet. I am so happy to see blazers come back -and in velvet, no less.
2. Nordic Boots in Leopard Print Calf Hair - these are definitely conversation starter boots. They might not be practical, but I do love a good leopard print, and think these boots are really cute.
3. Long Sleeve Flouncy-Hem Dress in Painted Floral - I love the floral shirt I bought from JCrew and although this floral print is slightly different from that one, I really like this dress.
4. Relaxed Plaid Ruffle Plaid Trim Shirt - this plaid shirt would be great paired with some black velvet pants and would work well for a holiday party.
5. Romy Sweater - I used to own lots of beautiful sweaters with various prints. My sweater collection has gone downhill in the last few years and mostly I have very plain sweaters at this point. I love the yoke on this one.
6. Helena Sweater - and this sweater, too. If only I could afford to add all of these beauties to my closet.
8. Christmas Fair Isle Sweater - maybe not the most practical since it would be worn during the holidays, but I love fair isle, and these little stocking hats and the balls that are attached are so cute.
9. Look At Me Now Cropped Seamless Leggings - I saw a XC mom wear camo leggings with a shirt and denim jacket and couldn't help but be a bit envious of how great her outfit looked. Spanx has been advertising them for a while, and although I'm not a big legging wearer, I have a hard time resisting anything camo.
10. Lumberjill Reversible Jacket - this Lumberjill jacket from Title Nine has totally caught my eye. I love that it's reversible and I love the plaid as well. I think this is something that I could buy and wear for the next decade. It's $169, which might not be bad if I really did wear it for ten years, but I'm waiting a little on this one.
That's it this week, folks. What's caught your eye?

My daughter bought a mustard colored beanie from Forever 21 for like, $3 and I have to tell you, she has worn it with so many different outfits and has gotten so many compliments. Just goes to show you that an accessory chosen in the perfect color can really add to an outfit. I am still loving mustard myself and bought a really cute sweater at Walmart, of all places.
