What a week! I went to work by 6:30 every morning and kept busy until late in the afternoon. Although I accomplished things every day there was always a list of things I needed to do when I returned. And I've tried not to, but I've worked a little bit more this weekend. Four buildings that I get to travel between with just two paras (did I mention my one para didn't show up and then finally after I texted her, she said she wasn't going to take this position, so I'm actually down to one para) feels like I'm being set up for failure.
I've decided I'm going to need to write down one thing that went well each day because otherwise I'm going to get stuck in a pit of complaining. On Thursday night we had open house and I stayed at the middle school- I met so many awesome incoming sixth graders- and that's one of the best parts of the job: the kids.

You really do have a good eye for stuff. That first dress with those shoes she is wearing. Love. I am in a season of complaining myself. I do make it somewhat humorous. A student the other day said that I turn chaos into comedy. I need to write a book with that title.
