What My Husband Read (And Enjoyed) In 2020

After twenty-three years of marriage, I would like to think that my reading has rubbed off on my husband.  It's not that he wasn't a reader before, but my obsession with books might have made him run in the opposite direction. In addition, he's spent years coaching high school sports and taking classes for work, which have definitely cut into any leisure reading time he might have had.

2020 was the first year that he consistently read before bed many/most nights and he ended the year having read 35 books (including two huge classics: Gone With the Wind and Uncle Tom's Cabin).

I hounded him a bit this year to look back over the titles he read and pick his five favorites.

In random order, these six books (two we decided went together) are his hits from 2020:

He's already reading his second book of 2021, and I warned him that at this rate, he might catch up with me (something I'm sure he's not wanting to do).

My husband has never read a book if you can believe it. Not even in school.
Of your husband's list, Greenwood looks interesting and you and I had talked about Hot Zone. Not sure I would want to read that now.
