"Fernanda's hair was her one vanity. Lovely and thick, it took a full hour to blow dry during twice weekly appointments at Garren. And that very afternoon- after a month on a waiting list, not to mention her entire week's salary at Christie's- she'd finally gotten her first cut-color-blowout appointment with the Lower East Side shut-in that Cornelia and all the girls raved about."
Overnight Socialite by Bridie Clark - taken from my Kindle
So far I am enjoying this chick-lit book and my Kindle, even though participating in a Teaser Tuesday post is different using the Kindle- not so much being able to just pick a page and find a quote. I felt restricted to staying within two or three pages of where I am currently reading.

Sounds like a funny book. Here's my teaser: http://theliterarystew.blogspot.com/
This sounds like a fun novel. How did tis expensive appointment turn out? My BTT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/02/teaser-tuesdays-lessons-in-french.html
Teaser Tuesday on the Kindle is cake!
Just remember your location (say line 866). Then select 'Go to Location', type in a random number, and chose your quote.
You can 'Go to Location'and re-enter your current line number (866)...you can also do the same with 'Sync to Last Page Read' but I find the 'Go to Location' is quicker.
My Teaser Tuesday will be posted in an hour (not yet Tuesday here :) )
I can't imagine being that obsessed with my hair. LOL. My teaser is here.

Funny - I travel a lot for work, so my hair is super short to avoid all that!
Here's my teaser.
Well you picked a great one there, even if it did make you feel restricted. Must be a good book - if you find it hard to chose a tease from it!
Here is my Teaser Tuesday with a giveaway!
I hope you can join in with the fun!
Sassy

Here's mine, opening chapter of The Legend of Wolfboy - published anonymously by an author in a contract dispute with a previous publisher. It begins publishing as it's written this week.

—————————————
Dusk was deepening toward another dark summer night and the chilly mountain air felt like frigid fingers running down their spines.
A near-full moon began to peak through the majestic mountain pines that dominate the western slope of the California Sierra Nevada mountain range, adding to what was already and eerie atmosphere.
“It was seven years ago today,” Ryan growled, his voice breaking the silence on this starless night, June 13, 1995. “The car radio said severe thunderstorms were threatening to hit the Sierras, but the Jacksons were set on going on their annual family vacation to Shaver Creek.”
Sounds tempting!
