It's time to look back at my reading in March of 2011 which features some excellent reads. It's always fun to look back and seeing these titles always brings back memories of where I was when I was reading them.
OKay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt- I love, love, love The Wednesday Wars. This is the story of Doug Swieteck, the bully from WW. Although I don't love this quite as much as WW, I will read anything by Schmidt who is such a fantastic storyteller.
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys -I love historical fiction and this is perhaps my favorite of Sepetys' work. Lina's family is sent to a Siberian work camp where the conditions are horrendous. This is based on a little known true event in history, and I found myself absolutely amazed by this story of survival.
Strings Attached by Judy Blundell - this historical fiction book is set in the 50s in New York City where Kit has moved and gets a part in a Broadway show. I love Blundell's work as well and this one is a lot of fun.
The Paris Wife by Paula McClain - another historical fiction novel featuring Hadley Richardson who becomes one of Ernest Hemingway's wives. I loved the story of their relationship and marriage, but I also enjoyed the different famous people who are featured in this novel.

So there is a sequel to The Wednesday Wars called Just Like That. I don't remember you posting that you've read it. I am reading it now and a SHOCKING event happens on page 1.5!
