I'm hoping that these less than fantastic first week of the school year aren't the way this entire school year continues. Too many things to do every day, not enough time to do them in, and always feeling like you are shortchanging the students and staff in every building isn't a good feeling. I've tried very hard this weekend (notice my Friday Five is publishing on Sunday) to just ignore school related things but that has been hard. So, it's now Sunday night and since I've procrastinated long enough, I've got to spend a little time figuring out where I'm going this week and when.
The one area I am successful in is finding things I want to buy. Here are things that caught my eye this past week:
