Friday Five

Last week got away from me and I didn't get a Friday Five post done. This week I vowed I would get one done. So here it is- even if it isn't a minute too early.

Linen Safari Skirt

I love safari type clothing. This skirt from The Loft just screams "spring" to me.  The only thing I'm not sure about is the fact that this is linen, which  means I might have to break out an iron.
In pure linen, this classic safari style is ready for any adventure your day (or night) holds. Belt loops. Front button through flap patch pockets. Back zip. Lined. 17 1/2" from natural waist.:

Gap Women Girlfriend Chinos

I took a chance on a pair of chinos much like this last year. At first I wasn't quite sure what to think of them, but after giving them a chance, they quickly became a spring/fall wardrobe staple.  I like the color of these pants, and there are several other choices available.

Gap Women Stripe Essential Half Zip Hoodie

I must have a thing for stripes.  And thank goodness there are always a lot of stripes to be seen in spring.

Essential stripe zip hoodie:

I feel like I've tried a lot of different running shorts. Most are too short for me to feel comfortable wearing them anywhere. These shorts are a little longer and not only could I run in them, I could also see myself wearing them most days in the summer as I run around.

Title Nine: Anti Run Short 7" - Yes, we run. We are runners, but we don't love the whole skimpy run short thing. We've designed a running short for all the women runners out there who have hips and thighs and still aspire to run like the wind. Made from Nimblene™, our run-ready blend of poly/spandex, and an updated, smooth waistband, the newest Anti Runner is still our lightweight, anti-chafe, full coverage favorite. 7" inseam (vs. the 2" 'standard' length.) Pockets; drawstring. Only @ T9. X...:

Textured Stripe Poncho Scarf

I happened upon this poncho as I was looking on Old Navy this morning.  I am not sure I can carry a poncho off - especially as I teach elementary students and my clothes have to be fairly kid-friendly. I could see this type of poncho shifting around a lot, which would make it a little difficult.

This coming week we have spring break.  Woohoo!

Those chinos. I need some but I always stick to the traditional colors. I love that poncho. I am not a poncho gal though. I sometimes think about moving to a different state just so that I can change my style and not be that person, who is trying to change her style.
