Ten years ago I had a lot of great books to read. These five are just a few of the highlights.

I'd love to go back and re-read many of these books, but with the current state of my TBR stacks, that's not likely to happen. For right now, I'll just remember how much I enjoyed reading them.

Let's see. Ten years ago I was just switching from the classroom to the library, I was frantically reading as much YA Literature as I could just to build up my ability to make recommendations. Not sure it was precisely this month but that meant I read LOOKING FOR ALASKA; THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER; FAT KID RULES THE WORLD to name a few.
