Throughout the month of November, bloggers
Heather (Based on a True Story),
Frances (Volatile Reader),
Rebekah (She Seeks Nonfiction), and
Deb (Reader Buzz) invite us to celebrate Nonfiction November with them.
I always look forward to NonFiction November, even though I'm not the best at participating. There are so many nonfiction books on my TBR, and I have a wide variety of things I enjoy reading about.
1. What are the best nonfiction books you've read this year?
2. Do you have a topic you read about a lot?
Several topics are ones that I revisit often:
- the Royal Family
- sports: basketball, golf
- pop culture - television shows
- political/presidential memoirs
- true crime
3. Is there a topic you want to read more about?
There are so many different things I am interested in. If I read a fiction book, and I don't know much about the topic, my curiosity is piqued. I love learning about people and events in history; there are so many things I don't know about -and want to know about.
4. What do you hope to get out of participating at NonFiction November?
I love adding to my TBR. It's so fun to see what everyone else is reading and enjoying. And I like connecting with other readers who also enjoy a good nonfiction book.

If you are interested in basketball, you might enjoy Blythe Spirit by Sandy Blythe.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your favorite nonfiction from this year. I've added to my list.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of your favorites but they all look fascinating. Here is my Week 1 post, if you haven't seen it already: https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2025/10/nonfiction-november-week-one.html
